After a time it was clear that the ‘Bench’ concept wasn’t working for the editor. Out of twenty-three sketches, only five got a green light to finished artwork. He was too busy to discuss it, so I made a guess that maybe the cartoon had to be more job-related and switched some of the ‘Bench’ characters to an office setting. It turned out to be a wrong guess.
